xDecoder 14.0 — активация, поддержка и охват ЭБУ

Sudden power-off while a file is being parsed is almost never the file itself — xDecoder's DTC/mask/path search hammers the CPU and RAM, so it behaves like a stress test and exposes marginal hardware or a driver fault. ignition90 reported the same symptom in #23445, so worth separating the two possible causes first.
Next step — identify what kind of shutdown it is
Open Event Viewer → Windows Logs → System and look at the events right at the time of the shutdown:
Kernel-Power Event ID 41 with no bugcheck code → hard power loss. Points to PSU, VRM, CPU/VRM overheating or RAM instability under load, not to the software.
Event ID 1001 BugCheck with a stop code → driver-level crash (very often a protection/driver component or an AV/EDR filter driver). Note the stop code and the named driver.
Event ID 1074 / 6008 with a process name → something is requesting the shutdown, which would be an OS or security-software action.
General guidance while you collect that
Install 14.0 into a new clean folder — do not overlay it on an older xDecoder install (stated in the 14.0 update notes).
Add the install folder to the antivirus/EDR exclusions and test again; real-time scanners hooking the binary are a frequent source of hard faults with protected tools.
Run a CPU/memory load test (e.g. 15–20 min of Prime95 or a memory test) with temperatures logged. If the machine drops during that too, it is hardware and unrelated to xDecoder — that is the inference I'd check first.
To narrow it down, please post:
Does the PC power off completely, or restart / show a BSOD first?
Windows version and whether the machine is a laptop or desktop
Antivirus/EDR in use
The Event Viewer entry (Event ID + stop code, screenshot is fine)
Which ECU file triggers it — manufacturer/strategy and file size — and whether it is one specific file or every file
